This Privacy Policy explains how LeanOrbit Apps ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the PrepLine iOS app ("the App"). We have designed PrepLine to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.

Information processed by the App

The App processes the following to provide its features:

• Content you enter. Job titles, job descriptions, your practice answers, and related details you type in order to generate interview questions and feedback.
• App settings and progress. Your onboarding answers, saved job targets, and preferences. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Diagnostic events (on your device only). The App may write anonymous diagnostic events (for example, that a question set was generated or a paywall was shown) to your device's local system log to aid on-device troubleshooting. These events stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and are not collected, stored, or used to identify you.

AI processing

To generate interview questions and feedback, the content you enter is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider, OpenAI, routed through Cloudflare's AI Gateway. This processing happens only when you actively request question generation or answer feedback. We do not send this content for any other purpose. Please review the privacy practices of OpenAI and Cloudflare for details on their handling of data they process on our behalf. We recommend you do not enter sensitive personal information into your practice answers.

Subscriptions and purchases

Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework; we do not use a third-party subscription service or share your purchase information with one. Apple processes your payment; we never receive or store your payment card details. The App reads your subscription status (entitlement) directly from Apple so it can unlock paid features and restore purchases. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data storage and retention

Your job targets, practice content, and settings are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the App. Content sent for AI processing is retained only as long as needed to return a response and as described in our providers' policies. We do not maintain user accounts or a central database of your practice content.

How we use information

We use the information described above solely to operate and improve the App: to generate questions and feedback, to manage subscriptions and fair-use limits, and to diagnose problems. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can stop all processing at any time by not entering content and by deleting the App, which removes locally stored data. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. To request information about data processed on our behalf, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
