On Your Device.

Spark collects no personal information whatsoever. There are no accounts to create, no sign-ins, and no forms asking for your name, email, or any identifying details.

The app does not track your location, and does not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.

Spark runs entirely offline. All questions, game logic, scoring, and streak tracking happen locally on your device, and we operate no servers of our own.

The one exception is the in-app purchase. When you tap to unlock all five categories, or tap Restore Purchases, iOS contacts Apple's App Store to process and verify that purchase. That exchange is handled entirely by Apple, is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and sends us nothing about you — we never see your name, your Apple Account, or your payment details.

Spark saves a small amount of game state locally on your device using standard iOS storage: your daily round count, your current streak, your best score, which category you picked during setup, and whether you have purchased the unlock.

None of it leaves your device, none of it identifies you, and all of it is deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not use iCloud sync or any third-party storage provider.

Your purchase is the one thing that is not stored only on your device — it is held by Apple against your Apple Account, which is what lets Restore Purchases bring it back after a reinstall or on a new device.

Spark contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting tools, no advertising networks, and no tracking frameworks. Specifically, none of the following are present in the app:

Apple may collect anonymized, aggregated App Store metrics — download counts, and crash logs if you have opted into sharing diagnostics with developers — through their standard developer program. That data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and reaches us only in aggregate, never in an individually identifiable form.

Spark is suitable for all ages and contains no adult content, no ads, and no social or messaging features. Because we collect no personal data from any user, there is no special risk to children.

The app does offer a single optional in-app purchase, which is handled by Apple and subject to whatever purchase restrictions are configured on the device. Parents can disable in-app purchases entirely in Settings ▸ Screen Time ▸ Content & Privacy Restrictions.

We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 13, and the app is built so that no such collection is technically possible.

If we ever update this privacy policy — for example, if a future version of the app adds new features — we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it in the App Store release notes.

We are committed to never adding data collection without being transparent about it first.
